Emerging Projects

Signalta Power has numerous technical discussions underway for various behind-the-fence generation applications within a multitude of industries. We continue to develop cutting edge and profitable cogeneration projects with large and mid-sized industrials, with several opportunities at advanced technical and legal stages.

Evolving and troubled markets have created opportunities in Alberta / B.C. / Saskatchewan / Ontario, as assets being stranded, under-serviced, under-capitalized, misunderstood, and mismanaged.

We are in current discussion and reveiw of six potential projects totaling 80 MW (peaking and posted circumstances). We anticipate permitting the first of these projects within the next twelve months. Currently we have identified new attractive investment prospects (opportunistically acquired or developed) in:

• distribution connected power generation (BTF / cogens);

• distressed / stranded assets (from large company asset rationalization);

• niche cogeneration projects; and

• expansion of existing infrastructure.
