Our Story

Signalta Resources Limited is a successful and creative private company that has contributed to the Canadian oil and gas industry for the past 47 years through direct joint venture investments. Since 2012, we have diversified into power generation, environmental pursuits, large dollar transactions, and into the electricity industry. This diversification and broadened focus has contributed to Signalta’s longstanding > 11% Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and 1.8 times return on capital (ROC) since its inception in 1976.

Signalta Power is a completely contained developer of power projects, leveraging an experienced management team that has extensive industry knowledge with an excellent track record of value creation. Our pedigree is in engineering, economics, and strategically capitalizing on dislocations (industry wide or asset specific) in the market. Further, our projects integrate efficient power generation as a vital component to reliable, green, and eco-friendly energy systems.

With a proprietary and long term business approach, we have delivered consistent performance through numerous business cycles. Consistent profits are achieved by conservatively operating within cash flow capabilities.

Signalta Power will design, permit, finance, construct, aquire, commission, own, operate, optimize, and joint venture in power assets. The company is based in Calgary, Alberta with operations in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan , and across Canada.

Signalta Power has grown through the acquisition of premium power assets and through the construction of new green field projects. To date, Signalta Power has aquired five faciliteis (26 MW) and has brought three projects (26 MW) into commercial operations. Signalta Power’s generation portfolio is currenlty 52 MW.
